Tibersoft User Group Puts Its Marketing Hat On
Thanks again to all the clients, guests, and colleagues that made our 2017 User Group meeting an informative success. This year we had more Client presentations and incorporated a real-time feedback utility for questions and surveys.
The theme was ‘Last Mile Execution’ where a lot can go wrong in the foodservice supply chain. The Client presentation keynote was delivered by Todd Schlewitt at Conagra.
Todd chose to use a day-in-a-life format and described his Tibersoft Explore setup as ‘Grand Central Station’.
I really like that metaphor.
- Grand Central Station is beautiful. We aspire to make our software and curated information equally appealing.
- Trains need a well-run hub to convey their cargo and stay on time – like weaving all the different data streams together.
- Trains are destination driven— we ride them to get somewhere. The key to the Last Execution theme is measurement. Stepping back for a minute, are you looking for more data, or more answers? Answers help you know you’ve reached your destination!
- Grand Central Station has real people working there to help you get to where you need to go. Technology alone doesn’t get you there.
Describing what Tibersoft does hasn’t come easy at times. Listening to others describe us seems to be the better way to go!
PS – By request, we’re looking at increasing to two events a year in addition to our quarterly deep dive symposium meetings online.
