Step #1: Connect
Any system that deals with data that changes on a daily basis is only as good as the quality of the incoming data.
When Tibersoft begins a relationship with you, we evaluate your supply chain in terms of number of items, locations, concepts, distributors, contracts and other key metrics. Given the fact that our data network, TiberNet, is integrated with over 90% of the foodservice distributors in North America, it's likely that we've already created the majority of distributor connections you'll require. To reduce time-to-benefit, these existing connections are immediately broadened to include your own specific locations.
Once initial setup has been done and your account is in production mode, the TiberNet Support Team monitors data flow on your behalf. Using our proprietary Connection Tracking technology, they make sure that each of the files from your DCs matches an agreed-upon profile that describes the format, transfer method, timing and security, as well as baseline numbers of items and locations. The net result is timely, complete, error-free real-time supply chain data.
Step #2: Calibrate
The next challenge is cross-linking, or mapping, new items and locations to support a single view of all the data. That view has to be understandable – in other words, does it use meaningful ways of describing and grouping the items and locations? Without this level of organization, getting facts out of the data is like reading the phonebook.
Guiding Calibration is a concept we call "Information in Your Language." It's the difference between getting or not getting value from this kind of solution. Our next generation data management model satisfies two criteria: one, it allows you to see your data the way you're used to seeing it; and two, it allows for the presentation of only the data you wish to see.
Step #3: Control
