TIBERNET SUPPORTS ELECTRONIC CLAIM PROCESSING
The Tibersoft network commences electronic claim processing with US Foodservice
WESTBOROUGH, MA October 22, 2009 - Tibersoft's information network has been updated to receive billback invoice transactions (also known as the EDI 867 Product Transfer & Resale Report) from U.S. Foodservice. Designed for Manufacturers, this information helps to leverage existing trade systems for automated trade claim processing. The restaurant level detail boosts intelligence of Sales and Finance reporting systems.
Integration between TiberNet and U.S. Foodservice for Distributor to Operator invoices has existed for over 10 years. The EDI 867 file transaction type has now been amended into this integration. The EDI 867 transaction documents performance against a deviated pricing contract.
Specific capabilities for this integration include
- Monthly and weekly file receipt
- Multi-level Operator classification (such as Corporate HQ, and associated Operator Brands)
- Invoice level detail at the restaurant location level
- Integration with TiberNet item and location data mastering utilities
- 48 hour processing throughput
- Flexible delivery options to internal systems behind the corporate firewall
“TiberNet can deliver this data to your internal trade, finance, and reporting systems - in different formats if necessary. Trade systems might only want item level information. Reporting systems might want location details ” said Christopher Martin, CEO Tibersoft.
